OPL did wel in season 18: it was the team's first complete season in Top Division and Bartoli Rivera wore the Spanish national jersey for a few weeks. The hill-team became much stronger, but some cobblers had to leave. The team could compete in Tweedaagse van Antwerpen and Germany Tour and had a lot of fun in those tours.
At the end of season 18, results became scarce so the team dropped a bit in the ranking and has now a 50th place. It balances between Top and Zyte Division. In my opinion it is the place where OPL belongs, not at the top of the ranking, but just below.
In season 19 we want to climb a few places in the ranking. It will be hard, but we will try to do our best. With the stronger hill-team we will be able to get more results than last season, but it is necessary that the team will find some cobble team-mates to support Rivera. Last cobble races he couldn't manage to get good results, because he missed team-mates.
Season 19 will be the season in which Wit Portai will become 32. It will be difficult for me to decide if I let race Portai a whole season with the risk he will retire or I will sell him around day 70.
From now on I'm searching someone who can take over the function of Wit Portai in the future. I will keep an eye on the transfer forum. If someone has a hiller he wants to sell for a lot of money, he just has to contact me.
